Clyde & Co advises DarGlobal on its branded villas with Lamborghini

Clyde & Co Spain has advised international real estate developer DarGlobal on the development of Tierra Viva, a high-end residential complex comprising 53 luxury villas in Benahavís, Málaga. The project, designed in collaboration with Automobili Lamborghini, targets international buyers seeking exclusive properties in premium locations.

DarGlobal, with a presence in key markets such as Dubai, London, and Saudi Arabia, sees Spain—particularly the Costa del Sol—as a strategic location for real estate investment, given its appeal as a destination for leisure, retirement, and international business.

Luis García, the partner who has led the legal team, which includes Marina Arancón and other lawyers from the firm, has worked closely with DarGlobal to guarantee the legal security of the entire process and to facilitate the marketing of the villas by optimizing the time required to formalize the transactions with high-profile national and international investors.

The law firm provided comprehensive legal support throughout the development process, including regulatory advice, permit management, contract drafting, and the preparation of Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation to ensure compliance with anti-money laundering and identity verification requirements.

Luis García, lead corporate services partner at Clyde & Co Madrid, notes: “This project has been an exciting challenge, given the scale of the development, the profile of the investors and the collaboration with a leading company such as DarGlobal. It has required full availability, agility and flexibility on our part to adapt to the needs and timescales required by the project and the client at all times. Tierra Viva is not a conventional real estate development and required a robust and flexible contractual documentation, adapted to international standards”.
