Clínicas Costa Maia sold to CoRe Capital: advisors

Telles advised the Costa Maia Group on the sale of Clínicas Costa Maia, a national reference in physical medicine and rehabilitation, to a company owned by CoRe Capital and MoveClinics. CS’ Associados and EY advised CoRe Capital on the buyer side.

The Costa Maia Group previously owned four physical medicine and rehabilitation clinics, three of which were located in the north of the country and one of which was located in the Lisbon. These clinics are now part of the Moveclinics network, bringing the total number of units to 13 and giving new impetus to its national expansion. “This will reinforce the group’s ambition to establish itself as a benchmark in physical medicine and rehabilitation at a national level”, states Telles.

Telles’ multidisciplinary team was led by Tomás Barbosa (pictured), managing associate in the Corporate, M&A and Private Equity practice. The team included Catarina Isidro, Leonor Dias do Carmo and Gabriela Marques Duarte, associates in the same practice area.

On CS’Associados’ side, the advisors team was led by Bernardo Abreu Mota (partner Corporate M&A), alongside with associate Mar Machado Graça and Marcos Carrapita.
