Clifford Chance appoints Begoña Barrantes as senior counsel
Clifford Chance has announced the promotion of Begoña Barrantes to senior counsel of the firm in Spain.

Barrantes joined Clifford Chance in 2001 and has been a key asset of the firm’s Global Antitrust Group since then, working in the Madrid, London and Brussels offices.
She specialises in Spanish and European antitrust law, with extensive experience in advising national and international clients in a wide range of strategic sectors, including telecommunications, energy, infrastructure, distribution or financial services. Begoña covers the areas of restrictive practices, merger control and state aid, including the new Foreign Subsidies Regulation.
