Clifford Chance advises on the €150m green project financing granted to Elawan Energy’s affiliates

Clifford Chance has advised the lenders and mandated lead arrangers on the €150 million green project financing granted to Elawan Energy’s affiliates. The funds are earmarked for the construction of 4 wind farms and a PV plant with an aggregate capacity of 171 MW, all of them located in Spain across the provinces Cuenca, Ciudad Real, Palencia and Burgos.

The team was led by Global Financial Markets partner José Guardo and senior associate Eduardo Sánchez, with the support of associates Gabriel Miranda and Lucía Domínguez. Associates Ángel Muñoz and Yago López, advised on the hedging, Mónica Romero on regulatory matters while associates Itziar Kraus and Paloma González advised on real estate issues.
