Cleary Gottlieb and Simpson Thacher instructed on Santa Fe debt offering

Cleary Gottlieb advised the Argentinean province of Santa Fe on its international debt offering of $250 million. Simpson Thacher acted for the initial purchasers.

Santa Fe is the third most populous province in Argentina, it is well known for its dairy products production and the agricultural sector.

The notes, due 2023, were offered in the United States in a private placement under Rule 144A and outside of the United States in reliance on Regulation S.

JP Morgan served as global coordinator and joint bookrunner, and Citigroup and HSBC served as joint bookrunners. Mercado Argentino de Valores served as local manager and Nuevo Banco de Santa Fe served as financial advisor.

Cleary Gottlieb teams from Buenos Aires and New York assisted Santa Fe in the offering, including partner Andrés de la Cruz.

JP Morgan, Citigroup and HSBC instructed a team at Simpson Thacher led by partner Juan Francisco Mendez.
