Christian Krause new Managing Partner at Monereo Meyer

Christian Krause has taken on the position of managing partner at Monereo Meyer Abogados since January 1, 2024. The decision was made during the last partners’ meeting in 2023. Krause replaces the co-founding partner of the firm, Stefan Meyer, who has served in the role for three years and will continue as head of the Real Estate Law department.

The newly appointed managing partner, has outlined his plans for the firm’s future growth and development. Krause expressed his intention to further expand the firm, potentially through acquisitions, while also focusing on continued growth within their niche market and enhancing their external visibility. He emphasized the importance of prioritizing client satisfaction through personalized service and highlighted the significance of implementing human resources policies tailored to modern societal needs to foster a comfortable and inclusive environment for all team members. Krause emphasized that these initiatives would build upon the legacy of his predecessors and the multicultural foundation of Monereo Meyer Abogados.

Christian Krause has been, until his appointment, responsible for the firm’s Corporate Area, where he practiced law between 2008 and 2014, to rejoin in 2018, after four years in Costa Rica, where he is also licensed. Recommended since 2021 by Chambers Global as Foreign Expert Germany, he specializes in corporate and commercial law, M&A, commercial contracting, as well as in foreign capital investments in Spain and Latin America. He is an expert in the industry and commerce sectors, financial institutions, and private wealth.
