Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão has hired Nuno Sá Costa as a senior associate to reinforce Criminal and Administrative Offences area
Nuno Sá Costa joins Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão Porto office after leaving JPAB – José Pedro Aguiar-Branco & Associados, where he has been a partner until now. In words of Pedro Marinho Falcão, founding member of the firm, “Nuno’s career excuses presentations and represents a winning bet that is part of our strategy to continue strengthening our teams and providing excellent services.”
This hiring is part of the company’s growth strategy, in which Nuno Sá Costa sees himself as embracing the new project: “it is a dynamic team that makes us project the next decades and augur guaranteed successes.”
Nuno Sá Costa (pictured) was a member of the Portuguese Parliament in the IX and XII Legislatures, as well as a member of the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee for the determination of responsibilities for the decisions that led to the process of subconcession of the Viana do Castelo Shipyard, and representative of the Committee on Constitutional Affairs, Rights, Freedoms and Guarantees in the European Parliament, in an interparliamentary committee on “Future Priorities in the Field of Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs.”
He has a degree in Law from the Universidade de Coimbra School of Law and a postgraduate qualification in Tax Law from the Universidade de Porto and in Organisation and Management in Professional Football from the Oporto School of Law of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
