Cerejeira Namora advises on AtlasProgress acquisition

Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão advised on the acquisition of 100% of the shares of AtlasProgress, the company that owns the prestigious luxury guest house 1898 Home & Suites in Lisbon. The transaction also included the purchase of the 19th-century building where the guest house is located.

This acquisition positions 1898 Home & Suites for future growth and investment, with management focused on meeting the high expectations of clients in Lisbon’s premium luxury hospitality sector, states the law firm.

The deal was led by Pedro da Costa Mendes (pictured), partner in the firm’s corporate practice. The legal team supporting the transaction also included associate Francisco Paula Santos, among others.

The advisory work covered the entire process, from preparation and negotiation to finalising all transaction documents. The team also oversaw the public deed for the property acquisition, the transfer of share ownership, registrations, and subsequent legal formalities. While the financial details were not disclosed, the investment is estimated to be worth several million euros.
