Ceca Magán Labour partner joins ING

Manuel Fernández-Fontecha Rumeu has left Ceca Magán Abogados to join ING as head of Labour Relations & HR Operations in Spain & Portugal

Manuel Fernández-Fontecha Rumeu (pictured) is an experienced head of Labour Relations and Human Resources Operations with a demonstrated history of working in the banking industry, skilled in Negotiation, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), International Law, Litigation, and Legal Advice. He has extensive experience in the planning and implementation of restructuring plans, as well as in special senior management relations and due diligence procedures, among others.

He joins ING as head of Labour Relations & HR Operations in Spain & Portugal from Ceca Magán Abogados, where he was a partner in the Employment practice for two years. He started his career as a Labour lawyer at Garrigues, joining EY in 2015, where she was a senior manager in the Big Four´s Labour department before joining Ceca Magán.

He is a Law graduate from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICAI-ICADE), where he has taught in the Master´s degree in Accounting and Auditing. He has also taught Law at IE Law School.
