CCSL strengthens team with 8 hires in strategic practice areas
CCSL Advogados has welcomed eight new professionals across key areas of its practice in recent months. The new names are Soraia João Silva, Bárbara Rodrigues Ferreira, Rita Sousa Carlos, Inês Hassane Borges, Carolina Soares Alves, joining as associates; Marta Furtado dos Santos, as of counsel, Teresa Olim Caldeira, trainee lawyer; and João Mestre, in the financial management area.
Soraia João Silva joins the tax law team, transiting from SRS Legal. With solid experience in tax planning, tax litigation, and international taxation, she will play a key role in the continued growth of the firm’s tax practice. In the corporate and M&A area, Bárbara Rodrigues Ferreira, formerly at RRP Advogados, brings experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, and legal advisory for companies.
Rita Sousa Carlos joins the financial law, sustainability and compliance team after her time with GPA Advogados, with strong expertise in financial regulation, capital markets, and financing. Inês Hassane Borges, transiting from CRS Advogados, strengthens the real estate team, contributing experience in acquisition, leasing, and urban development operations.
The litigation practice is also reinforced with the addition of Carolina Soares Alves, who joins from Deloitte Legal. Carolina brings valuable experience in dispute resolution. Also in this practice area, Marta Furtado dos Santos, new of counsel, has an established career and extensive experience in complex litigation, representing a strategic addition to CCSL’s conflict resolution team.
The team also includes Teresa Olim Caldeira, the new trainee lawyer, beginning her professional journey at a firm that values growth and continuous development of young talent. The management team has also been strengthened with the arrival of João Mestre in the financial management area, ensuring the firm’s structural solidity and long-term sustainability.
