CCA Ontier opens Oporto office

CCA Ontier has opened an office in Oporto, Portugal that will focus on a range of practice areas including corporate, tax, labour, and digital technology.

The office – which will also specialise in advising companies on expanding their international operations – will be led by Porto-based lawyer Catarina Guimarães and partner Martim Menezes.

A firm statement said: “Opening an office in the north of Portugal has been a longstanding ambition and it became inevitable.

“Clients are increasingly requesting legal services to be provided in Porto and throughout the north of Portugal – as such, it became fundamental to be physically close to the clients.”

CCA Ontier’s head office in Lisbon has been in operation since 1949. The firm opened an office in Shanghai in 2010.
