CCA Ontier advises Vision-Box on pioneering privacy certification

CCA Ontier advised Portuguese automated border control company Vision-Box on the securing of a ‘privacy by design’ certification for its identity management software in what is understood to be a first for the industry.

A CCA Ontier statement said that the granting of the ‘privacy by design’ certification – by Ryerson University in Canada – for Vision-Box’s Orchestra ‘passenger flow management platform’ was the first ‘privacy by design’ certification for a piece of European identity management software.

Vision-Box is a provider of automated border control and electronic identity management software. It works in partnership with governments, airports and airlines.
