CBRE Spain hires new Legal director
Carolina García de la Rasilla Arambarri has joined international Real Estate consulting and services firm CBRE as Spain Legal director
With more than 17 years of professional experience, Carolina García (pictured) joins CBRE Spain after having worked at international firms such as Garrigues, Elzaburu and ECIJA. She has also been deputy director at Junior Achievement in Spain and at the Art & Law Foundation.
She has a degree in Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and has been a member of the Madrid Bar Association since 2002. She holds a Master’s degree in Art & Business from Sotheby’s School of Art and an advanced course in Intellectual Property from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE). She has taken, among others, specialisation courses in Technology Contracting (IE Law School) and Technology and Research Results Transfer (UAM).
She has advised on Open Innovation and Digital Transformation projects, on innovative IP investment processes, on Technology and know-how transfer operations with relevant foreign and Spanish multinationals in the Technology and Industrial sector, as well as with start-ups or spin-offs. Her areas of expertise include Commercial and Corporate Law and Intellectual and Industrial Property (IP). García de la Rasilla is also an expert in negotiating and drafting all types of contracts, including Technology contracts.
