Catarina Correia Soares, new partner at Lopes Barata & Associados

Lopes Barata & Associados has promoted Catarina Correia Soares to partner in the labor law practice. A lawyer with the firm since 2015, Catarina Correia Soares leads the team and has experience across the full spectrum of labour law, standing out in employment litigation in particular.

In addition, she regularly advises companies on matters such as hybrid working arrangements, human resources policies, remuneration structures, disciplinary proceedings, compliance audits and labour due diligences in corporate transactions. She is a member of APODIT – Associação Portuguesa de Direito do Trabalho and of EELA – European Employment Lawyers Association.
