The team led by Ana Castro Gonçalves, lawyer and tax specialist partner, advised the german company on the transfer of its operation in Russia, who stresses “the importance for the Portuguese economy of such a relevant company establishing a branch in this territory”. André Madeira de Jesus, lawyer, and Laura Gaudêncio Borges, trainee-lawyer, were part of the legal team that collaborated in this operation.

Founded in 2008 by Alexej Erdle, Max Wegner, and Vitalij Kungel in Berlin, Autodoc quickly became one of the leading internet companies, with operations in 27 countries, employing around 5,000 people in six locations. By 2021, Autodoc achieved sales of more than one billion euros. The company stores more than five million products for 166 cars, 23 trucks and 154 motorbike brands.

In this operation, João Caiado Guerreiro, managing partner of the firm, “highlights the excellent work of the entire team”, emphasizing “the importance, in the current European context, of Autodoc choosing Portugal to establish its new branch”.
