Broseta advises Vicky Foods on acquisition of Panrico from Adam Foods
Broseta has advised Vicky Foods, a company specialising in the production of bread and bakery goods, on the acquisition of Panrico, a well-known bakery brand, from Adam Foods, the manufacturer behind brands such as Cuétara, Artiach and Aneto.
The transaction, which has a footprint across both Spain and Portugal, includes not only the Panrico brand but also its main industrial asset: a production plant located in Gulpilhares, Portugal. The facility spans more than 50,000 square metres and is equipped with three production lines dedicated to sliced bread, with an annual production capacity of approximately 21,000 tonnes.
The team
The deal was led by Broseta’s Corporate M&A team in Spain, including partner Alejandro Ríos, director Rafael Lillo and associate Lucía Maronda. The Competition team involved senior associate Juan Luis Luján and associate Jorge Risueño.
On the Portuguese side, the Corporate M&A team comprised director Fabio Gomes Raposo, senior associate Antonio Oliveira and of counsel Jorge Silva.
