Broseta to earn DE&I Excellence Distinction
Broseta has been recognized by the Club de Excelencia en Sostenibilidad for its outstanding commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I). The firm has received the prestigious “Diverse, Inclusive & Equal Company” distinction, becoming the first law firm in Spain to achieve this milestone. This accolade reinforces Broseta’s pioneering role in promoting inclusivity, equity, and sustainable practices within the legal profession.
The award ceremony featured Carles Navarro, President of the Club de Excelencia en Sostenibilidad, who emphasized the importance of recognizing companies that lead by example in fostering inclusive business environments. “This distinction aims to showcase companies like Broseta that integrate DE&I values into their strategy and inspire others to follow their lead,” said Navarro.
Accepting the award on behalf of Broseta, Manuel Broseta, Chairman of the firm, reflected on the critical role of inclusivity in driving innovation and excellence. “At Broseta, we believe that a diverse and committed team is essential for delivering high-quality, innovative solutions to our clients. This recognition validates our ongoing efforts to build an inclusive and equitable workplace,” he noted.
A Rigorous Standard for Excellence
The “Diverse, Inclusive & Equal Company” distinction, developed and overseen by the Club de Excelencia en Sostenibilidad, is officially registered with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). This allows organizations across all sectors and sizes in the European Union to apply.
Earning the distinction requires a thorough assessment of an organization’s dedication to DE&I principles. The evaluation includes reviewing evidence, assessing performance against specific indicators, and achieving a minimum score of 75% to qualify. This rigorous process ensures that the recognition is reserved for companies that demonstrate genuine and measurable progress in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
