Broseta strengthens Tax with Cristóbal Martí as Partner in Valencia
Broseta has reinforced its tax department with the appointment of Cristóbal Martí as partner in its Valencia office, as part of the firm’s strategic growth plan.
Martí brings more than 30 years of experience advising both multinational corporations and family-owned businesses on tax matters. He specialises in corporate transactions, particularly mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and restructurings.
He joins from Deloitte Legal, where he spent nearly 13 years and led the firm’s practice in eastern Spain covering the Valencia and Murcia regions. Earlier in his career, he worked at Garrigues and Arthur Andersen.
A graduate in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Valencia, Martí also holds a master’s degree in taxation from Centro de Estudios Garrigues. He is a regular speaker at business tax forums and seminars.
Commenting on the hire, Broseta chairman Manuel Broseta said Martí’s arrival strengthens the firm in “a strategic area and one of particular relevance for companies: corporate taxation.”
The hire follows recent partner additions at the firm, including Rubén Aísa in M&A and David Ramírez in tax in Madrid and Barcelona, respectively.
