Broseta adds a new team of professionals to its Lisbon office

Broseta, the firm led by Rosa Vidal (pictured second from left) and Manuel Broseta (pictured right), is expanding its footprint in Portugal with the addition of a new team of six professionals from the Portuguese firm Espanha e Associados. Led by partner Joao Espanha (second from right), these professionals bring extensive knowledge of the Portuguese market and its business landscape.

The move aims to further enhance Broseta’s growth trajectory in Portugal and solidify its position as a prominent firm in the region. As part of this strategic initiative, Broseta is integrating its Portugal office into its overall structure, with consequential changes in its corporate structure and shareholder composition.

Álvaro Roquette Morais (pictured left), the current managing partner of Broseta in Portugal, will continue to lead the Portuguese office while also joining Broseta as a partner and a member of the Board of Directors in Spain. According to Roquette, this integration represents a significant milestone in Broseta’s journey in the Portuguese market, reflecting the firm’s commitment to expansion and consolidation.

These changes signify Broseta’s full adoption of its brand in the Portuguese market, reflecting the firm’s organic and corporate growth in the Iberian market. Since its inception, Broseta Portugal’s Lisbon office has tripled its revenue, showcasing the firm’s strong financial performance and market presence.

Established in Lisbon since 2018, Broseta’s presence in Portugal complements its three physical offices in Spain, including Barcelona since 2022, Valencia since its inception, and Madrid since 2007. Furthermore, Broseta’s geographical reach extends to Zurich, where it has been present since 2013, and through its leadership in the Ibero-American Legal Network, which spans 20 countries and comprises over 1000 lawyers, facilitating seamless collaboration and meeting the needs of organizations across both regions.
