Beazley Strengthens European Leadership with Key Appointments
Beazley, the specialized insurance company, has announced two significant leadership appointments to bolster its European operations.
Lorena Segovia has been named the new Country Manager for Southern Europe, encompassing Spain, Italy, and Portugal. Segovia will also continue her role as Head of Financial Lines for Continental Europe, focusing on expanding the company’s presence and operations in Southern Europe. With a solid track record of enhancing the company’s strategies and building robust networks of brokers and clients, Segovia’s leadership will be pivotal in navigating the increasingly complex market.
Lucien Mounier has been appointed as the new Head of Cyber Risks for Europe. Previously the Head of Beazley’s Asia Pacific (APAC) business, Mounier will now be based in Barcelona, leading the development and management of the cyber insurance sector across Europe. His extensive experience in cyber underwriting and product management makes him well-equipped to tackle the challenges of the cyber risk landscape and further strengthen Beazley’s market position.
Fred Kleiterp, Beazley’s CEO for Europe, emphasized that these appointments reflect the company’s commitment to its European growth strategy. He praised Segovia’s ability to drive business development and Mounier’s successful track record in the APAC region, expressing confidence in their capacity to enhance Beazley’s service offerings and client relationships across Europe.
Both appointments underscore the company’s dedication to investing in talent and resources to meet the evolving needs of clients and partners in a rapidly changing market.
