BDO grows by 10.4 % in 2023 and achieves revenues of €136.4 million in Spain

BDO has achieved total revenues of 136.4 million euros in Spain in 2023, which represents a growth of 10.4 % over the previous year. The company’s financial area of Audit & Assurance, Financial Advisory and Management Consulting accounts for 50% of its turnover, and the other 50% in Legal & Tax Services, including BSO (business outsourcing).

Investment in talent

One of the pillars of BDO’s Strategic Plan in Spain continues to be its investment in talent. During 2023, the firm has registered an increase in the number of people of 8 %, which translates into a total of 1,333 professionals distributed in 13 offices in Spain. Thus, BDO in Spain has managed to create a solid transversal team of expert professionals, which evolves year by year in order to meet the changing needs of all clients, and to better accompany their evolution.

As a result of legislative changes, both inside and outside the EU, “BDO in Spain has chosen to strengthen and expand specialized services in the area of sustainability and sport. A bet to help its clients adapt to new regulations and standards that opens the way to new opportunities, while maintaining its commitment to invest in advanced technology, digital transformation and new services related to cybersecurity or technology consulting,” the firm shared in a statement.

At the beginning of 2023 also began the process of transferring the Presidency, which culminated in October 2023 with the appointment of Carlos Sotillos Brihuega as the new President of BDO in Spain.
