BDO advises on the acquisition of Altair Consultores Logísticos
BDO has advised Everwoord Capital on the acquisition of Altair Consultores Logísticos, an operator specialising in forwarding and foreign trade consulting.
Altair, which has a turnover of €100 million and a workforce of 147 employees, will merge with Maresa Logística, a company incorporated into the fund in 2024, to create a leading forwarding group in the Iberian Peninsula, with sales of €160 million and a combined team of 500 professionals.
In this transaction, BDO provided financial and tax due diligence advice. The financial due diligence was led by BDO’s Deal Advisory area. Fernando Muñoz del Campo, partner in the tax area at BDO Abogados, and Clemente Sanz Veiga, director of M&A in the tax area at BDO Abogados, participated in the tax due diligence.
