Baker & McKenzie and Gómez-Acebo & Pombo advise Agile Content on OTTN deal
Baker & McKenzie and Gómez-Acebo & Pombo advised technology company Agile Content on the acquisition of US-based pay-TV business Over The Top Networks (OTTN).
The transaction was worth €7 million, according to Mergermarket data.
Under the terms of the deal, Agile has acquired 100 per cent of the three corporations that distribute this service, which are headquartered in Austin, Texas, Sao Paulo and Madrid.
OTTN develops technology for Pay-TV platforms, that allows telecom operators and media groups to offer on-demand video.
Its clients include Telefónica, DirecTV, and Sky.
