Baker McKenzie, BPV Abogados and KPMG advise on the acquisition of a stake by Quarza Inversiones

The Corporate M&A teams of Baker McKenzie and BPV Abogados have advised the Catalan yacht manufacturer De Antonio Yachts on the acquisition of a stake by Quarza Inversionres (Cristian Abelló’s private equity firm). KPMG has advised Quarza Inversiones in the tax, labor and legal buy-side due diligence.

Following the entry of Quarza Inversiones, De Antonio Yachts will maintain its management structure, which will continue to be led by the two founding partners, Marc de Antonio and Stanislas Chmielewski.

Baker McKenzie’s advisory team has counted on Juanjo Corral (partner) and Javier Méndez (associate), both from the corporate M&A area, and BPV Abogados’ team has counted on Jordi Biosca (tax partner) and Peña Ibarra (corporate M&A partner).

KPMG Abogados team has been formed by Álvaro de Silva (partner) and Nikolay Iliev (senior manager) of the tax team, Iñaki Olmos (director) and Tamara Peyreto (senior associate) of the labor team, as well as Luis Mingo (partner), Ángel Bustamante (senior manager) and Alejandra Gómez (associate) of the legal team participated in the project.
