Baker McKenzie and A&O Shearman advise on a 10-year renewable energy purchase agreement linked to two solar plants by Roca Group
Baker McKenzie and A&O Shearman have advised on the long-term renewable power purchase agreement (VPPA), with a 10-year term from 2025 to 2035, linked to the new Trévago I & II solar plants, located in the province of Soria of Roca Group, a world leader in the design, production and marketing of products for the bathroom space,
The projects are being developed by Bruc Energy, a renewable energy generation company.
These solar production facilities are scheduled to start operations in July 2025 and have a capacity of 86.84 MWp. Eighty percent of the total capacity will be dedicated to Roca Group and is expected to generate 120 GWh of clean energy annually, the volume needed to cover the electricity consumption of all the group’s operations in Europe.
Baker McKenzie has advised Roca Group with a team led by Manuel Somacarrera (senior associate, public law).
