Baker McKenzie advises on the purchase of the Santara Senior Living Resort residential complex in Alicante
Baker McKenzie has advised the socimi Smart Living Properties (a vehicle created by Bestinver following its alliance with SmartRental Group) on the acquisition of the Santara Senior Living Resort complex, located in the area of Santa Pola, Alicante. This is a 30,000 square metre residential centre for the elderly with 200 residential units.
Bestinver inaugurates one of its real estate strategies, focused on the senior living segment, which it will develop under the Evoca Living brand. It is the second investment, after the purchase of the Hospital Xeral in Santiago, where it will create a student residence.
The team advising Bestinver was formed by Paloma Alcón, Lucía García Ovies and Manuel Somacarrera.
