Baker McKenzie advises on the acquisition of British & International School XXI

The international law firm Baker McKenzie has advised International Schools Partnership on the acquisition of British & International School XXI, owner of St. George International School in Madrid, from the company International British Education Group.

Since its founding in 2010, St George, Madrid has transformed the lives of students and families from Madrid and around the world through state-of-the-art educational programs and facilities. The school’s unique focus on providing a personalized educational experience for each student has been a cornerstone of its educational philosophy. St George’s currently serves 800 students of 51 different nationalities and has earned recognition as a model British and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) school in Madrid.

With this transaction, International Schools Partnership operates twelve schools in Spain.

The Baker McKenzie team consisted of corporate M&A partner Luis Fuster, team leader Jose Heres, senior associate Elena Piquero and junior associate María Lantero.
