Baker McKenzie Advises Brenntag on Quimica Delta’s Acquisition

Baker McKenzie has provided legal counsel to Brenntag, a distributor of chemicals and ingredients, in its acquisition of Química Delta, a Mexican chemical products company. The company operates a last-mile service network with toll access in central Mexico, boasting a long-standing history and strong relationships with suppliers.

The deal is currently pending regulatory approval, and financial details, including the purchase price, remain confidential.

Química Delta’s main facilities are located in Teoloyucan, near Mexico City, serving significant clients in the central region with a diverse portfolio of industrial chemicals. The company also operates multiple rail terminals and has access to maritime port infrastructure in Altamira, a strategic gateway for chemicals imported primarily from the United States.
