BAGB reinforces its French desk
Brugueras, Alcántara & García-Bragado Abogados has added international lawyer Christopher Jacquet-Cortès to its Barcelona office French desk
Christopher (pictured left) is a member of the Paris and Barcelona Bars and trained in Paris, advising international clients.
“His arrival reinforces our team to advise and defend companies and individuals in their operations between France and Spain. His solid experience in the repatriation and expatriation of executives and, in general, in matters of international mobility completes our area,” stated Catherine Marti de Anzizu (pictured right), partner of the firm and head of the French desk.
The French desk is made up of French and Spanish lawyers, registered in both countries and practising in both France and Spain, which allows the firm to bring lawsuits and represent clients before the French and Spanish courts. Likewise, they also carry out Arbitration proceedings in France and European and international proceedings conducted in the French language. They also advise and carry out proceedings for the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments.
Christopher Jacquet-Cortès specialises in European Private Law, International Business Law, French law: Commercial, Contracts, Labour, and Litigation before French courts. As a member of the Paris and Barcelona Bars, he has worked in an international law firm in Paris, advising and defending French, Spanish and English-speaking clients.
He is a Spanish Law graduate from the Universitat de Barcelona and a French Law graduate from the Universisté Lumières Lyon II. He also holds two Master´s degrees from this centre; one in International and Comparative Private Law and another in Private and Judicial Law.
