Bacciardi Partners on Rivacold’s entry into Spain
Italian law firm Bacciardi Partners advised Rivacold, an Italian group in the commercial and industrial refrigeration sector, on the acquisition of a shareholding in Basic Connection System (“BC Systems”), a Spanish company. BC Systemas has been operating for years in the distribution of refrigeration, heating, and air-conditioning equipment, and is the main and long-standing distributor of Rivacold products in Spain.
The transaction is part of an industrial strategy to structurally strengthen the presence of the VAG group—and in particular Rivacold and Vitrifrigo—in the Spanish market. “A direct stake in a key partner consolidates a long-term commercial relationship and creates a stable platform for the development of the local business”, states Bacciardi.
Bacciardi’s team was composed of lawyers Lorenzo Bacciardi (pictured) and Pier Federico Orciari, respectively CEO and head of corporate law, and Giulia Belardinelli.
