Atrea Real Estate acquires Los Cubos for €91M: advisors
Atrea Real Estate has agreed to acquire the Los Cubos building, the new vehicle of Luis López de Herrera-Oria, in Madrid, for €91 million, from Henderson Park. Ecija, EY and PwC have advised Atrea Real Estate on this deal, while Rivoli AM, CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield, Ashurst and Deloitte have advised Henderson Park.
Los Cubos, one of Madrid’s most recognisable office assets, underwent a comprehensive brown-to-green refurbishment prior to the transaction. The renovation transformed the property into a modern vertical campus, achieving Leed Gold certification and bringing occupancy to 84%.
On Ecija’s side, the advisors team was composed of Carmen Ciurana (corporate); partner Iván Azinovic, Álvaro Jiménez-Díaz, Juan González Mateo, Guillermo Martín (real estate); partner Francisco Javier Iniesto, Alba Gutiérrez (tax); partner Victor Moralo, Jaime Peñarrubia, and Juan Carlos Cardoso (urban planning).
On PwC’s side, the operation was advised by Davide Mosso, partner, alongside lawyers Javier Soldevilla, Iñigo Arrieta Deisusi, Alejandro Ruiz Miguel and Carmen Larena Ibanez.
The Ashurst team was led by partners Joaquín Macías (Real Estate) and Ricardo García-Borregón (Tax), supported by Román Hierro (Senior Associate, Real Estate), Cristina López Canosa (Associate, Corporate M&A), Jorge Ramírez (Counsel, Tax) and Marina García Vallejo (Associate, Tax).
