Ashurst´s Madrid office reports 8% growth

Ashurst´s Madrid office posted revenues of €23.3m in 2014, an increase of 8 per cent on the previous year.

It represented another year of impressive growth for the office – in 2013, the firm´s revenue grew by 22 per cent to €21.6m.

Revenue per partner in 2014 stood at €1.8 million, while revenue per lawyer totaled €530,000.

In 2014, the Madrid office had 13 partners and 44 lawyers.

The firm’s Madrid managing partner Eduardo Gracia said the office was continuing its “positive evolution”.

He added: “The key is the adaptation to the market and therefore to the clients’ needs – consequently, in recent years, we have seized the opportunity that came up in the market due to the wave of investment and we have become a law firm of reference in these transactions.”
