Ashurst opens new Madrid headquarters at Serrano 88
Ashurst has announced the relocation of its Madrid offices to Serrano 88, “a state-of-the-art building” in the Barrio de Salamanca, right in Madrid’s Golden Mile. The new office’s location brings Ashurst closer to corporate and institutional clients, many of whom are based in this area of Madrid. The firm will leave its historic offices at Calle Alcalá 44, where it began operations in Spain in 2001.
Ashurst will occupy approximately 2,800 square metres of office space, designed to accommodate the firm’s professionals with dedicated work areas and spaces that aims to “promote efficient, collaborative work”. The office will also include a client-focused area with meeting rooms and multipurpose spaces for hosting events, complemented by a zone designed for employee well-being.
The move, scheduled for mid-2027, will bring improvements such as modern, functional workspaces equipped with cutting-edge technology. “The move represents a major qualitative step for the firm and reflects its strong commitment to excellence. The new Madrid headquarters positions Ashurst in one of the city’s most prestigious addresses, consolidating and enhancing its presence in the Spanish market and strengthening its ability to attract and retain top talent”, states the law firm.
This relocation marks a milestone in Ashurst’s journey in Spain, where the firm celebrates 25 years this year and “looks forward to the planned mid-2026 combination with US firm Perkins Coie, reaffirming Ashurst’s long-term commitment to the Spanish market”.
In the words of Jorge Vázquez Orgaz, managing partner of Ashurst Spain: “At Ashurst, we look to the future with great enthusiasm. After twenty-five years, we open offices in one of Madrid’s main avenues, staying true to our essence and with renewed ambition following our combination with Perkins Coie. Our new offices are designed to empower our teams and elevate the client experience. We are starting an exciting new chapter.”
