Ashurst launches its third Ashurst Advance global service center in Kraków

Ashurst has launched a third Ashurst Advance Global Service Center (“GSC”) in Krakow, Poland, and it has partnered with Elevate, a law firm to build and manage it, as part of its commitment to deliver innovation in legal services for its clients.

GSC

Building on the growth of the Glasgow and Brisbane centers, the Krakow GSC represents an expansion of the firm’s Ashurst Advance offering, with the introduction of this new European-based team to provide greater capacity and scale for clients.

“In recent years there has been a significant shift in what clients expect from their legal advisors, further driven by the macroeconomic environment and increasing globalization,” commented Paul Jenkins, global CEO. “The drive to deliver more for less, coupled with the emergence and growing adoption of legal technology, has led to increased demand for innovation in legal services and forward-thinking solutions.”

Support across a number of service lines

The Krakow CGS will be fully integrated into Ashurst Advance’s global team, working seamlessly with the firm’s legal and risk consulting experts to deliver legal services and tailored solutions to clients globally and cost efficiently. The multilingual team in Krakow will provide support across a number of service lines, including managed legal services, due diligence in banking and M&A matters, litigation and investigations support, contract management, document formalization and regulatory compliance programs.

Hilary Goodier, global co-head of Ashurst Advance, said, “Through this new CGS, we will also expand our capabilities in relation to European languages, ensuring that our team is well equipped to continue to meet the diverse needs of our clients across the continent and beyond.”

Partnership with Elevate

“Collaboration is fundamental to innovation in legal services, and we are delighted to partner with Elevate on this project. Opening a new global service center requires mobilizing a highly skilled, experienced and scalable team, and Elevate’s strategic advice and execution capabilities have enabled us to do just that,” said Chris Georgiou, Global Co-Head of Ashurst Advance. Chris added that this partnership has also enabled Ashurst to accelerate the launch of the center. “Elevate’s expertise and professionalism has allowed us to open in Krakow ahead of schedule and with excellent capacity from day one, bringing immediate value to our clients.”

Ashurst Advance

Originally established in Glasgow in 2013 with a team of seven, Ashurst Advance has grown exponentially, both in terms of headcount and client demand, having become a multi-disciplinary team of 200 based in the UK, Australia, Asia, the Middle East and now Continental Europe. This team, which is among the fastest growing across the firm, offers NewLaw’s full portfolio of services, including Digital Solutions, Advanced Delivery, Legal Managed Services, Legal Operations and Flexible Resourcing, to provide clients with comprehensive and innovative solutions to their most critical business challenges.
