Ardian instructs PLMJ on Ascendi acquisitions
PLMJ acted for investment fund Ardian Infrastructure, a private investment fund, on the acquisition of the whole of the share capital of the Portuguese companies Ascendi PT and Ascendi PT II.
The two companies hold five motorway concessions: Ascendi Greater Lisbon, Ascendi Costa de Prata, Ascendi Beira Litoral and Beira Alta, Ascendi Norte, and Ascendi Greater Porto.
Under the terms of the deal, the Ardian Group also acquired three service and maintenance companies that have key roles in the concessions, as well as a reference shareholding in Via Verde.
The PLMJ team was led by partner Diogo Perestrelo, and included partner André Figueiredo, of counsel Elsa Pizarro Pardal, senior associate Marisa Larguinho, and associate Guilherme Seabra Galante.
