Araoz & Rueda and Cuatrecasas advise on the acquisition of Grupo Serosense
Araoz & Rueda and Cuatrecasas have advised on the acquisition of Grupo Serosense by Visalia, an independent energy group that supplies electricity, natural gas, diesel and propane.
The Visalia group, which has recently unified all the business of its companies under the Visalia brand, has made this acquisition as part of the development of its strategic plan to 2026 based on the integration of old brands, diversification and convergence of services to offer customized and highly competitive products for all types of customers, mainly homeowners’ associations, private households, micro-businesses and SMEs.
The Serosense group covers several business lines in the province of Lleida: electricity distribution networks, electricity commercialization, telecommunications fiber networks and telecommunications services commercialization.
Araoz & Rueda has advised the buyer, Visalia, with a team led by energy partner Francisco Solchaga (pictured left).
Cuatrecasas advised Grupo Serosense with a team formed by Roger Freixes (partner pictured right), Xavier Oriach (associate), Pedro Blázquez (partner) and Ana Belén Cambra (associate).
