A&O Shearman advises on stake buy in Túnels de Barcelona

A&O Shearman in Spain has advised Abertis in the acquisition of a 49.99% stake in Túnels de Barcelona i Cadí, the company that controls the tunnels of Vallvidrera and Cadí in Catalonia.

The team involved in the transaction was composed of partner Bosco De Checa (pictured), senior associate Nicolás Sierra García-Escudero and lawyer María Isla (corporate and M&A); partner Vanessa Cuellas and associate Luis Espejo Bares (banking & finance); counsel Mario García and associate Eduardo De La Paz Erasun (public law); partner Ishtar Sancho Escudero and senior associate Juan José Sánchez Lorenzo (tax); and partner Antonio Martínez Sánchez and counsel Jaime Rodriguez (antitrust).
