Antas da Cunha partners with Angola’s DC Lawyers

Antas da Cunha Ecija has established a partnership agreement with the Angolan law firm DC Lawyers, in a protocol that includes the sharing of clientele, legal assistance in areas of mutual expertise, exchange of information, and professional exchange.

“We embrace this opportunity with great enthusiasm,” says Fernando Antas da Cunha (pictured right), managing partner of Antas da Cunha Ecija. “The possibility of having a correspondent office in Angola has been on the table for a long time. However, it only made sense to move forward if we found a partner with whom we were fully aligned.” The managing partner of Antas da Cunha Ecija emphasizes: “DC Lawyers is a young law firm, but one that already has a remarkable reputation in the Angolan market, sharing our values, principles, and, most importantly, our ambition.”

Beneficial synergies

DC Lawyers was founded in 2017 by lawyer Dário Camati Gaspar and focuses its activities on both Public and Private Law. Dário Camati Gaspar (pictured left), managing partner of DC Lawyers, believes this agreement will allow “the creation of mutually beneficial synergies and ensure a broader and more comprehensive service offering.” He adds, “We are fully aligned with Antas da Cunha Ecija and believe this agreement will play a very important role in the sustained growth of our practice and clientele.”

The agreement extends the cooperation relationship of DC Lawyers to Antas da Cunha’s entire international network. The Portuguese firm is already present in 17 locations across Europe and Latin America, as well as to all other existing strategic partnerships.
