Antas da Cunha Ecija advises on Feerica stake sale
Antas da Cunha Ecija has provided legal support in the sale of a significant portion of the share capital of Feerica – Fábrica de Equipamentos para Segurança e Inovação Industrial, a company specialising in industrial security – to François-Charles Oberthur SAS.
At the same time, François-Charles Oberthur SAS subscribed to a capital increase in Feerica, under which it increased its shareholding, also through the shares of Oberthur Cash Protection, a company governed by French law, owned by François-Charles Oberthur SAS and which, through this transaction, came to be owned by Feerica.
Feerica and its Portuguese and international subsidiaries thus become part of the new Oberthyr Feerica group, strengthening their position in security technology for the banking sector.
The multidisciplinary team involved in providing legal support to Feerica’s shareholders was coordinated by partner Henrique Moser and included of cousel Carolina Meireles, consultant Mariana Tavares, senior associate Carolina Ribeiro Santos and junior associate Sofia Macedo de Faria.
