Andrea Vallejo New GM of Johnson Controls Southern Europe
Johnson Controls, a global leader in smart, healthy, and sustainable buildings, has announced the appointment of Andrea Vallejo as the new Vice President and General Manager for Southern Europe.
In her new role, Vallejo will oversee Building Technologies and Solutions for Southern Europe, including Spain, France, Italy, and Portugal. Her responsibilities will encompass the divisions of Building Automation & Controls, Fire & Security, and HVAC & Industrial Refrigeration. She will define and implement growth strategies in collaboration with the regional leadership teams and business units.
Vallejo brings extensive experience in leading strategic initiatives and teams within the smart and sustainable building technologies sector. She has been with Johnson Controls since 2008, holding various significant roles such as Vice President of Sales for EMEA and Latin America and Vice President and General Manager of Global Industrial Refrigeration.
With a passion for technology and innovation, she has managed regional and global responsibilities in sales, operations, product management, engineering, and manufacturing. She has also played a key role in the design and launch of Johnson Controls’ distinctive digital services like Open Blue. Vallejo holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Zaragoza and the University of Göttingen, and an MBA from INSEAD. She previously worked at United Technologies Corporation and was appointed President of the European Partnership for Energy and the Environment in 2022.
