Andersen incorporates three new partners in its Lisbon office

Andersen Iberia incorporates three new partners in Lisbon: Pedro Drago, who joins the Public and Regulatory Law department; Filipa Barata, to the Litigation and Arbitration department, and Gonçalo Rodhes, to the Real Estate department. In Lisbon, Andersen Iberia now has more than 50 professionals.

José Vicente Morote, managing partner of Andersen Iberia, emphasizes that “these hires represent high-level reinforcements for our Lisbon office and underline our commitment to quality and specialization in all the places where we are present. The three professionals have a great knowledge of the local market and will strengthen our capabilities in strategic areas for the firm, as well as our position in the Iberian market”.

Pedro Drago

Pedro Drago, a graduate in Law from the Lusíada University, has almost 30 years of experience in which he has advised in different areas of public and regulatory law, and has participated in contentious proceedings both before the Administration and before the ordinary courts. During his career, he has accumulated great expertise in matters such as public procurement, energy, pharmaceutical law, urban planning or expropriation processes.

Filipa Barata

Filipa Barata, who holds a law degree from the University of Lisbon, has 25 years of experience specializing in litigation and insolvency law. Throughout her professional career, she has advised national and international clients from different sectors, including energy, pharmaceuticals, insurance and finance, among others.

Gonçalo Rodhes

Finally, Gonçalo Rodhes holds a law degree from the Lusíada University. He has more than 19 years of experience and specialization in Real Estate and Urban Planning Law. Throughout his career, he has been part of several organizations, such as Lusitania, One Advise and Cyruss Ross European Group of Law Firms EEIG.
