Andersen in the EIC Fund’s investment fundraising process

Andersen has advised MySphera, a company specialised in improving healthcare efficiency through new technologies, in raising investment led by the European Commission’s European Innovation Council Fund (EIC Fund).

The company will use this capital injection to strengthen its global expansion and become a leader in the Real Time Location Systems (RTLS) market, one of the possible solutions to the problems of waiting lists in the healthcare sector.

EIC Fund’s investment in a spanish company has been joined by venture capital funds, such as SWANLAAB, Sabadell Venture Capital or ALIAD, and other private investors who were already involved in the company, reaching 2.7 million euros in the first tranche.

The Andersen team advising on this deal was formed by (pictured from left to right) Ignacio Aparicio, Co-Managing Partner of Corporate and M&A, together with José Trujillo, Senior Associate, and Edgar Saiz, Associate of the same department.
