Andersen appoints Luis Posado as legaltech partner
Andersen in Spain has appointed Luis Posado as a new partner in its legaltech department, a practice dedicated to helping companies and public bodies navigate technological challenges. Before joining Andersen, he was an attorney and partner in the Governance, Risk & Compliance practice at Ecix Group.
With over 22 years of experience, Luis Posado is an expert in data protection, digital and telecommunications law, regulatory compliance, and artificial intelligence. Throughout his career, he has advised both private companies and public administrations on matters related to cybersecurity, large-scale privacy audits, and the implementation of compliance strategies and systems in these areas.
A law graduate from the Complutense University of Madrid, Andersen’s new partner has in-depth knowledge of regulations such as the Information Society Services and E-Commerce Act (LSSI), the Information Society Promotion Act (LISI), the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and international standards like ISO 27001 and BS25999, among others. He also holds the Certified Data Privacy Professional credential from the ISMS Forum, states the law firm.
In the legaltech field, the firm recently signed a strategic alliance with One Million Bot, a company specialized in AI, to develop tailored solutions that ensure legal certainty and regulatory compliance. “The addition of Luis Posado is a key step in strengthening our legaltech practice, led by our partner Carlos Rodríguez Sau, at a time when our clients need regulatory guidance to accompany their technological transformations and ensure legal certainty”, says José Vicente Morote, managing partner.
