Andersen appoints Javier Gómez Domínguez as M&A partner

Andersen appoints Javier Gómez Domínguez as a new partner in its M&A department. The lawyer joins from PwC Tax & Legal, where he was a partner responsible for commercial law.

With more than 30 years of experience, he specialises in providing comprehensive legal advice to national and international companies in different sectors, particularly in the field of healthcare, on complex corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and other commercial, corporate and financial matters.

During his career, Andersen’s new partner has advised on numerous corporate sales transactions and due diligence processes, both from the buyer’s and seller’s perspective, working with corporate clients and private equity funds. He has also been involved in corporate restructuring in the context of insolvency and bankruptcy; acquisitions and takeovers; and corporate governance issues.

Gómez holds a law degree from the University of Navarra, a Master of Laws from University College London (UCL) and a Diploma in Executive Development from ESADE. He also holds a Diploma in Real Estate Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Diploma in Arbitration Law from the McGeorge School of Law at the University of The Pacific (California).

He is also a Solicitor of the Law Society of England and Wales and combines his professional work with teaching M&A at IE. Throughout his career, he has worked for PwC Tax & Legal, having led the Corporate/M&A team with more than 70 people under his charge.
