Andersen advises on the incorporation of Arca Habitatum Capital

Andersen has advised on the incorporation and registration with the Madrid Commercial Registry of Arca Habitatum Capital, the first real estate company in Spain whose shares are represented by tokens (distributed ledger technology, DLT). The tokenisation has also been registered with the CNMV.

Driven by Inmopolt and Armatura Capital, Arca Habitatum Capital represents a milestone in the practical application of blockchain technology to the real estate sector and marks a significant step forward in alternative investment and financing models in private markets, states Andersen.

Inmopolt is a company with 20 years’ experience in property leasing and sales and currently manages more than €210 million in assets. Armatura Capital, meanwhile, is a financial and investment boutique specialising in the comprehensive development of companies.

On behalf of Andersen, the legal advice was led by Luis Martín Guirado, of counsel in corporate finance & valuations, and Jorge Cuello, counsel in the commercial / capital markets department (both pictured).
