Andersen advises on the acquisition of Spanish company Rotor Componentes Tecnológicos

Andersen has advised the Chinese company Lanxi Wheeltop Cycle Industries in the acquisition of a minority stake in the shareholding of the Spanish company Rotor Componentes Tecnológicos. The advice has been carried out with the collaboration of China Construction Bank Barcelona Branch as financial advisor in the area of Corporate and M&A.

The objective of this operation is for both companies to join forces in a Spanish-Chinese consortium to compete together to improve their global positioning in the cycling industry, as well as to develop industrial and commercial synergies.

From the firm, the operation has been led by Juan Ignacio Alonso Dregi, partner in the corporate and M&A area and director of the Barcelona office, together with Daniel Paes and Wenbo Zhou, director and associate, respectively, in the same department. Likewise, all of them are part of the China Desk, the group coordinated by Alonso Dregi specialized in Andersen in charge of advising Chinese clients in their globalization processes in Spain and Europe, and Spanish and European clients in their business establishments in China.
