Andersen advises LCI Barcelona on launch of Campus in Catalonia
Andersen has provided legal counsel to LCI Barcelona, a prominent design and visual arts school, in establishing its new university campus in Barcelona. The institution, part of the Canadian LCI Education network, aims for this campus to become a leading hub for its operations across Europe.
The new facilities, inaugurated on October 8, are located in Barcelona’s dynamic 22@ business district in Poblenou. Spanning 11,000 square meters, the campus can host up to 3,000 students, supporting LCI’s goal of positioning itself as a premier design education provider in the region.
A Global Network Across Five Continents
LCI Barcelona joins a network of 12 “LCI Education” centers worldwide, spanning five continents with locations in cities such as Bogotá, Monterrey, San José, Melbourne, Tunis, and Jakarta. Additionally, the institution maintains a strong presence in Canada, with campuses in Vancouver and Montreal, where the organization began over 65 years ago.
