Andersen advises Aksia on the acquisition of Spanish company RIS Iberia
Andersen has advised Aksìa Capital V on the acquisition of RIS Iberia, a Spanish company specialising in the design and supply of professional irrigation solutions for agricultural and residential use.
With this transaction, Aksìa Capital strengthens the presence of the IREX (Irrigation Excellence) Group, Aksìa’s holding company and leading European industrial platform for precision irrigation technologies in the Iberian market, which benefits from the commercial and operational synergies derived from the integration of RIS Iberia. In addition, the acquisition will allow IREX to expand its offering with integrated solutions for agriculture, urban landscaping and landscape design.
The IREX Group is owned by Aksìa Capital V, a private equity firm that has been operating since 1997 and invests mainly in medium-sized Italian companies, supporting their growth, international expansion and management development. IREX designs, manufactures and distributes components and complete systems and digital technologies for precision agriculture, sports and ornamental irrigation.
RIS Iberia, a company with facilities in Zaragoza, Seville and Madrid, is a leader in the Iberian Peninsula in the distribution of irrigation products and accessories, hydraulic valves, advanced filtration systems, fertigation and solutions for precision agriculture.
