Andersen adds Gonçalo Dorotea as partner in Lisbon

Andersen has incorporated Gonçalo Dorotea Cevada as a new tax partner in its Lisbon office. The lawyer brings 15 years of experience advising large international companies on transfer pricing and value chain transformation. He joins from KPMG, where he was director of transfer pricing.

Gonçalo Dorotea Cevada holds a law degree from the University of Porto and completed a Master’s in Law at Queen Mary University in London. His practice covers the design of global policies, financial modelling and intellectual property migration operations, as well as permanent establishment risk assessment. He also has experience in cross-border audits, the negotiation of Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs) and Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAPs), with a focus on aligning cross-border operating models to new macroeconomic dynamics and ESG criteria.

Firm commentary

Pedro Raposo, vice-president of Andersen Iberia, said that Gonçalo’s international career reinforces Andersen Iberia’s position as a firm able to offer coordinated tax advice across the main markets where companies operate. Gonçalo Cid, partner and co-head of tax, added that the incorporation allows the firm to continue consolidating a specialized tax department aligned with clients’ needs.
