Amorim Teixeira joins CCAA as head of tax and restructuring

CCAA Advogados, the firm founded and led by Cristóvão Carvalho, has announced the hiring of Luís Amorim Teixeira, who is the new head of the tax and restructuring practice areas. A lawyer since 1998, Teixeira had recently been working at Amorim Tax & Legal.

Throughout his career, Teixeira founded TLCB Advogados, which later ceased operations, and was part of the Portuguese office of Martínez-Echevarría Lawyers. He holds a law degree from Universidade Lusíada and postgraduate degrees in Business Law and Tax Law from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and the Faculty of Law of Universidade do Porto, respectively. He is also a specialist in blockchain and smart contracts from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He has experience in legal advisory services for companies, particularly in tax law.
